Toyota Material Handling Europe enhances its BT Veflex man-down VNA range
Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) has enhanced its BT Veflex range of man-down trucks with a series of improvements to comfort and productivity.
Benefiting from features that were previously unique to the BT Reflex B and Reflex E reach truck ranges, the BT Veflex range delivers improvements inside and out, including a new cabin interior, PIN code access, easy mounting for electronic equipment in the form of the E-bar, as well as an extended options list.
The new cabin interior provides a more comfortable working environment for operators, with highly adjustable seats to suit each user. All controls are designed to be as intuitive as possible so that the operator can concentrate on the job throughout a shift.
PIN code access eliminates the need for keys and limits access to authorised personnel only, as an additional safety measure. Performance settings can also be allocated to each PIN, meaning that the truck optimises itself for each operator when his or her access code is entered. Programmable settings include steering sensitivity, top speed, acceleration rate and auto-braking.
As a standard feature on all Veflex models, the E-bar, a mounting rail for third-party equipment such as PCs, radio-data terminals and barcode scanners, ensures that Veflex is ready for integration into any operation.

Extra options now available include a height indicator and height pre-selection system, both of which make high-level work easier and safer.
The Veflex series is comprised of three models: VRE125, VRE125SF, and VRE150, with respective lift capacities of 1250 and 1500 kilograms and lift heights up to 11 metres. The VRE125SF model features shuttle forks for enhanced picking and putaway productivity. The shuttle fork model can operate in narrower aisles for increased storage volume utilisation.
