BT extends Opus range for intensive operations

The new OME100N features a rising cab, ensuring that the operator is always close to the load carrier.

Being an Opus, the OME100N is both flexible and efficient, as well as having excellent manoeuvrability thanks to its narrow chassis. The ‘operator-up’ design allows the greatest comfort and productivity in intensive picking applications up to the third level (3.4m). Initial lift means the forks can be maintained at a convenient height, no matter what the load. The rising cab allows strain-free access to goods, with a high degree of protection for the operator available with the optional folding side gates and overhead guard.

Rapid acceleration and a top speed of 12km/h minimise travelling times between pick-ups. The OME100N can, of course, be driven with the cab elevated, maximising productivity in intensive operations. Lift capacity is 1000kg.

For the handling of bulky items, the OME100NW is a ‘walk-through’ model, with a fenced-in load area that can be easily and safely stepped into from the cab. Folding side gates are standard on this model.

The OME100N and OME100NW benefit from a range of BT technologies. The E-man mini tiller arm offers power assisted steering that can be safely operated with only one hand, which makes driving in the direction of the forks easier. BT Powerdrive provides reliability and simplicity. CAN-bus technology means fewer parts but greater functionality, such as pin-code access control. Performance can be programmed to suit each operator, with his or her program being automatically activated when he or she starts the truck.
