Toyota Material Handling unveils new products, services and solutions at CeMAT 2008

Toyota Material Handling will showcase its integrated product, services and added value solutions at CeMAT 2008 in Hannover, Germany. Located in Hall 26, the Toyota Material Handling booth will welcome the public from 27-31 May 2008.

Under the theme ‘stronger together’, Toyota Material Handling will show highlights from its comprehensive product range of Toyota counterbalanced forklifts and towing tractors, and BT warehouse equipment, supported by service and added value solutions.

At CeMAT 2008, Toyota Material Handling Europe will launch its new range of powered pallet trucks and stackers. These new products focus on simplicity, safety and durability and offer many new benefits for users.

After making headlines at CeMAT 2005 with the Toyota Fuel Cell Forklift prototype, Toyota Material Handling will again highlight innovation, demonstrating ways that Toyota is developing new technologies and improving existing ones to address environmental challenges now and in the future.

At the CeMAT event, Toyota Material Handling will also unveil its services and business solutions offer, which empowers customers’ businesses by delivering consistent, high-quality services and added value solutions for customers across Europe. In addition to rental solutions and tailor-made service contracts, the comprehensive Toyota Material Handling offer includes Toyota I_Site, the information system that gives customers the information they need to reduce their materials handling costs, enhance safety and optimise the use of their trucks.

The Toyota Material Handling booth will be hosted jointly by Toyota Material Handling Europe and Toyota Material Handling Deutschland. Toyota Material Handling Europe began operations in 2006 and is the European regional organisation of Toyota Material Handling Group. Toyota Material Handling Group is the materials handling division of Toyota Industries Corporation, the world leader in materials handling.
Responsible for the Toyota and BT brands in Germany, Toyota Material Handling Deutschland began operations in 2007 following the merger of Toyota Gabelstapler Deutschland and BT Deutschland.

Håkan Dahllöf, President of Toyota Material Handling Europe, said: “We welcome customers to visit us at CeMAT and see how they can benefit from our comprehensive European offer. With our European focus supported by Toyota’s global resources, customers truly are stronger together with Toyota Material Handling.”

In mid-April, Toyota Material Handling will launch a CeMAT 2008 minisite at www.toyota-cemat.eu. This site will be updated with images and information from the show.
